Walter Scott Freedom Hill Vineyard Chardonnay 2015
The 2015 has delicate aromas of fennel, yellow flowers and mixed citrus. The palate is all finesse, with juicy acidity and a long minerally finish.This wine was fermented and aged in a new Puncheon and four neutral barrels for 11 months with 100% native yeast fermentation and minimal batonnage. The wine was blended and finished in stainless steel for an additional 3 months.

Limpid yellow. A powerful, mineral-driven bouquet evokes ripe citrus and orchard fruits, jasmine and sweet butter, along with a subtle vanilla note in the background. Palate-staining Meyer lemon and pear nectar flavors are supported by an undercurrent of smoky minerality.
