The 2020 Sauvignon Ronco delle Mele impresses with musky dried peaches, pears, candied lime and pungent yellow florals that form with time in the glass. There are depths of silky textures, seeming almost oily at times; yet balance is expertly maintained as nuances of kiwi and sweet exotic spices collect upon the senses. Sour tropical melon, crystalized ginger and hints of mint all linger long, while the 2020 tapers off with tension, yet still incredibly fresh.
