Taittinger visite in Reims. Notes of cranberry and red apples, some citrus. More complex than the 07 CdC BdB. More red fruit notes than other rose cuvées I’ve enjoyed. Very nice.

2006 vintage. Cork easy to extract. A rusty rosé color. Slightly dirty/earthy with light-medium body and still plenty of acidity to shepherd the proceedings along in a timely manner. Excellent depth on the finish and well-integrated perfume in the bouquet. Another solid 5-6 years at this level before any noticeable drop-off. 2.14.26.
