Beautiful Honeymoon fried chicken dinner pairing! Nose is yeasty and nutty, while palate leads with tart green apple and ripping acidity. Cheers!

Snappy, nice secondary toasted notes but still some real verve.

Enjoyable champagne with some good citrus note and acidity. Picks up a bit of volume after some time in the glass and fills out with brioche notes. Pairs with food well but can be enjoyed on its own as well. first had this at Vantre in Paris last year, glad to be able to find a bottle in Japan.

Jennifer likes Veuve Yellow Label better but she still thought this was very, very good. Courtesy of Gina Lee, the assistant front desk manager at the Fairmont Grand Del Mar, because of the problems we encountered at the hotel (all were remedied).

Such great complexity, a bit askew with yeast and sharp acidity.
