Beautiful deep garnet color. The nose displays driving, dark red Bing cherries. There is a cherry orchard located next to the vineyard's Holy Roller Vineyard and this past summer the fruit was left unharvested due to rain splitting.A unique contributing factor to this wine blend is the addition of 8% of the varietal Aglianico. A first for Walla Walla Valley, the family planted this ancient grape of southern Italy in their Serra Pedace Vineyard. They tried a splash of this varietal in the blend and found it fit like a glove, adding structure and a firm core of austere fruit.

Never had this and have had little Leonetti over the years. Smooth and restrained fruit with a bit of a vegetal note on the finish.

Great aroma. It smells like decadent Walla Walla wine. Spicy grip as soon as it hits your mouth and lingers in your throat. Rich and Balanced.

Needs additional time but still very tasty now. Great balance with deep dark fruit and spice. Subtle notes coming from the wood.

Required patience. Took 2 days for the cork taint to blow off. Clearly an off bottle.
