The nose is intense and quite ripe, releasing a burst of rich, dark fruits, balsamic tones, cedar and sweet spice from the glass. On the palate, it is densely packed with textural waves of ripe red, black fruit and spice. The finish is long and saturating to the senses. The quality here is apparent, even if in a forward style; this is a wine that could sway the lover of California Cult Cabernet over to Tuscany. (Eric Guido, Morrell Wine)
