The resulting wine is like a bridge between the styles of yesterday's Napa Valley and today. It jumps out of the glass with aromas of black fruit, incense and plums. The flavors are well delineated and comprised of dark cherry, plums, mineral and touch of cocoa. There is also a streak of red berry through the mid-palate on a fine structured spine.

Lots of structure and in need of a few more years. Still very enjoyable and well made wine. Alive and delicious 4 days after opening.

A nice spicy blue fruit nose that shows the somewhat colder Coombsville AVA very nicely. The finish is still a bit clipped for me right now but time should take care of that. 93+pts.

Wow, that's what a Napa Cabernet Sauvignon should taste like?? Delighted to be given such an incredible drop thanks to @Noah Chilton. Big berry nose, well balanced oak, a touch of tobacco, crisp apple skins and good tannins that linger nicely. Perfect food wine paired with a roasted tomato and zucchini pasta. A "real crowd pleaser" ;)
