The Carte-D'Or Brut is blended with the traditional Champagne grapes; Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. The delicious sparkling wine possesses aromas of white peaches and cherries, providing aromatics typical of a Rose' Champagne though the appearance of a blanc.

Stony, expressive nose with lots of green and yellow orchard fruit, birthday cake, perfect arc of acid and depth across the palate. A touch higher dosage than necessary to my palate, but otherwise hard to find fault with this.

This is a very accessible Champagne and would likely please most palates for those that aren’t major Champagne nerds. However, there’s also enough there for the Champagne nerd to enjoy. Slightly richer in style but really good balance. A very good NV. Disgorged October 2019

Had this NV about three years ago and tried their new batch. The Carte d'Or cuvée has a very high proportion of Pinot Noir, which is “the Drappier style.” Aromas of stone fruit and spice in a light frothy mousse. On the palate peach, plum and raspberry with citrus zest and earthy spice. Nice flow of bubbles lead to a lingering finish ending with toasty notes. From my ‘16 notes very consistent house quality style. Nice!

Pale lemon, medium intensity developed aromas of baked apple, lemon, brioche, toast, yeast and wet stone.. Dry, high acidity, medium alcohol, medium body, creamy mousse with flavors of apple, wet stone, pastry. Long finish, very good quality. Drink now, it's ready to go. Lovely mefium weight and a very dependable house.

Never have tasted/drank anything from Drappier previously but am very impressed. Will be sure to work this into a regular champagne for the house. Worth seeking out
