Dark purple. Vibrant, highly perfumed red and blue fruit, floral and incense aromas pick up exotic spice and cracked pepper flourishes with aeration. Plush and expansive in the mouth, offering appealingly sweet boysenberry, cherry and violet pastille flavors that show no rough edges. Becomes livelier on the wonderfully long, lively finish, which features resonating florality and harmonious tannins. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, February 2020)

Very lively and lovely, plenty going on here. Fruit, pepper and gasoline. Quite liked this one, a good solid wine with plenty of flavour in every sip.

Wow! Powerful but elegant at the same time. Wonderful floral and black fruit aromas. More black fruit, violet, eucalyptus, and minerals. Well worth the $45 price point. Drank with filet mignon.
