Mid crimson in colour. More a drink now style of Barolo - only 10 years old - no need to wait 20 years for this Barolo. Red fruited - raspberry and cherry. Soft tannins. Great with home made pasta. Will probably have my last one in 12 months.

Lifted and bright, carries itself nicely with firm yet incredibly fine tannin. The minerality has cut and plays off the tannic profile well. The ripeness of the fruit is well balanced by its lovely floral and earthy components. Hard not to love anything from Burlotto for my palate.

2020 spring / summer. More open-knit and approachable than the other wines at this stage, with more red fruit showing. It still has that old school structure, though

There’s something I’ve noticed in common among some of these 2015 Barolos at this stage - they open showing mostly alcohol and structure, but with some air a lovely, creamy red fruit emerges
