Gorgeous color, and an interesting play on the nose I can’t quite identify. Lovely complexity and length. It’s a decent sipper, but would probably be amazing with something earthy like mushrooms or truffles. Maybe a nice mushroom duxelles over a filet mignon for bringing out additional subtleties.
