80 M, 20 CF Deep crimson with slightly red tint, opaque, compact rim. Classic Right Bank bouquet of black truffle, dark cherry, dark plum, licorice, medium extracted coffee. Soft but full of character - as classic as it gets. Silky mouthfeel, always full of dimensions. Blueberry, blackberry, raspberry, cocoa, with a trace of jammy fruit but not overly so. Drank at Logis de la Cadene in St Emilion. Superb wine with plenty left in the tank. 91++
