The Bettina is a beautifully layered and complex blend of Bordeaux varietals sourced from three of David Abreu's own exceptional estate vineyards - Madrona, Thorevilos, and Lucia Howell Mountain. A blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Merlot, and Petit Verdot, this powerhouse wine is made with the same attention to detail as the estate Cabernet Sauvignon and named after Bryant Family Vineyard President, Bettina Bryant.

Great start to Inspire’s Grand Tasting. Ample and structured - it tastes of graphite, tobacco, cassis, black plums. Explosive and stoic.

It's very deep and dense in color and has beautiful aromatics. Shows power and grace at the same time. Very Margaux like. It needs another five years at a minimum.. Could go another ten easily.

Wow! Strong blue fruit flavors, vanilla, chocolate. I'm not usually one for California wines, but a very nice example. Still quite young. Double decanted and left to breathe for well more than two hours.
