To lovers of Spanish wines, Vega Sicilia needs no introduction. The 100 hectares estate is by far the most prestigious wine producer in Spain, ranking with the world's greatest names. The property is located 100 miles north of Madrid in the shallow Duero (Douro) river valley on the high remote plateau of Castilla Leon. The wines are truly remarkable with enormous complexity, and richness. The soft velvety texture, gorgeous mature flavours of black fruit, leather and oak are absolutely unique.Vega Sicilia is widely regarded as the greatest wine producer in Spain. The estate in Ribera del Duero is known for its dense, complex red wines made principally from the Tinto Fino (Tempranillo) grape variety. Its top wine, Unico, is one of Spain's most expensive and sought-after wines.

1994-1996-2000(release 2015) : Dans un style primaire. Le vin est encore très jeune, il a de la matière, dela richesse. Au nez, j’y vois des bleuets, du chocolat et de la vanille. En bouche le vin est large, il a du caractère avec un côté viandé et regorge de fruits confits. Un belle texture soyeuse et caressant l’ensemble du palais. Doit être attendu.
