Very classically styled Barolo. Everyone picked this one out at the brown bag tasting.

Got to try several vintages ('04, '09-'12) at a vertical tasting. Standouts for me were the 2010 for its balance and complexity, and the 2004, with its earthy, forest floor aromas, dried herb/dried dark fruit flavors, and integrated tannins. Showing age well but still plenty of life left.
