This is their Riserva bottling. Laboro is an anagram of Barolo and Disubbidiente refers to them not wanting to follow the rules of the consortium. For this vintage, they were not approved for the DOCG status because they submitted the wine a few days late to register. Instead of sitting quietly they decided to declassify. They refuse to be told when to bottle. The label is by an artist named Staino and is of a monkey sticking out his tongue because he doesn't want to follow the consortium's rules. From 2005 forward, all of the Riserva will be labeled 'Laboro Disubbidiente'.
