Medium gold. Heavy in the glass. Gorgeous nose. Notes of sea breeze, sea shells, wet stones, white acacia flowers and some honey. Massive fruit and acidity in the mouth. Great texture and mouth feel. Everything you could ask for in a Chablis… ready to drink now but easily has 10+ years in front of it. Loved this!

Medium gold color. Heavy like oil in the glass. Exotic nose. Notes of lemon, tan spice, gravel stone, apricot, kiwi, white acacia and some ocean breeze. Rich and powerful in the mouth. Coats and awakens everything it touches, long lasting finish. Killer juice, in a great spot... everything you want in a great Chablis.

Wonderfully mature but still vibrant and succulent. Lime. Oily limpid saline lemon. Mineral and poised and long. Excellent.

Medium gold. Heavy. Rich fruit forward nose. Notes of apricot, flowers, citrus, crushed stone and sea breeze. Rich and powerful in the mouth. Fat. With air, lemon creme and white stone notes dominate the amazing nose. This is in the zone and ready for business now but I would hope this could stay at a great plateau for the next decade.

Have had better vintages. Little hints of botrytis.

Light yellow gold. Nice heavy viscosity. A nose that sings of Meyer lemon, honey, ripe apricot and white stone. In the mouth it coats with a richness that is equal parts ripe fruit, and tangy acidity that builds even more with several hours of air. Long and expressive finish that lingers for a minute or more. Really great wine in a great drinking window, and I suspect that window will be open for several years.

Not as good as the bottle from last Friday. Little more development.

Flight 4. The clos flight felt a little fat after the champagne. But after an hour of air the 2001 gained significant complexity and a really nice nutmeg note.
