The 2011 Brunate exhibits an intense ruby red color. Dry, with generous body, harmoniously balanced and velvety texture. Classic, ripe red-fruit, long finish, rich and very elegant. Spices, violet, plums and intense tar, very typical for the Brunate vineyard.

Strawberry, cherry, lighter red fruits. Smooth, but firm tannin still. This is a lighter/medium cru. Don’t sleep on the elegance though, mineral and spice finish is delicious

PnP - light crimson red with orange rim. very open for business. The nose has intoxicating aromas of dried strawberries, dried rose petals, red cherry, spices and herbs. It is a beautifully medium body, medium tannins and layered wine. More on the femmine side of Barolo. Acidity makes you want more. Perhaps not for the long haul but definitely for instant gratification.

Love the snail! I love the '11 Barolo vintage. Cherry-strawberry/black tea aromas jump out from the glass; similar flavors framed by dry but not bitter tannins. Compelling.

The most elegant of the crus. This is sexy wine. Shows approachability an will age for years.
