Isabel Ferrando purchased this old Chateauneuf domaine from the Serre family in 2002. Located in the southern quarter of Chateauneuf-du-Pape, Isabel became the guardian of some of the finest old vines Grenache (some over 100 years old) in Chateauneuf. Under her leadership the Domaine is producing wines that rival the very best of the appellation. From the start she has instituted organic farming, aging in a combination of demi-muids and small oak barrels, and bottling without filtration. Ferrando's balanced and terroir expressive wines consistently garner excellent praise in the press and the public.
