This half-bottle has spent over 6 years ageing in the Krug cellars gaining depth, harmony, finesse and elegance. It has received its cork in autumn 2014. This half-bottle is an extraordinary blend of 127 wines from 11 different vintages, the oldest from 1990 and the youngest from 2008. Every glass of this bottle of Krug Grande Cuvee is the fruit of more than 20 years of craft and patience. 2008 was characterised by homogeneity, marked by remarkably expressive and generous Meunier. Thanks to a selection of rich and deep reserve wines, combined with particularly balanced wines from 2008, the resulting blend is truly harmonious, amplifying the character, purity and texture of Krug Grande Cuvee. The final composition of this Krug Grande Cuvee is: 48% Pinot Noir, 35% Chardonnay and 17% Meunier.
