The wine is majestic in its Dom Perignon intensity. Here it expresses its scope, its expansion. This is Dom Perignon P2, the Plenitude of Energy.Dom Perignon P2-1998 brazenly transcends the potential of the vintage. The opposing and complementary elements of the assemblage resound for an increasingly sharp intensity. Exalted in this Second Plenitude, the dark, mineral, iodine, spiced singularity of Dom Perignon vibrates higher and clearer than ever. The experience of the Dom Perignon Second Plenitude unfolds in a high-definition universe, both intense and penetrating.

Soft biscuity, plush. Lovely delicate acidic spine. Orange rind, toast. Very good

Consumed a week after my 70th but better late than never. Notes of honeysuckle and mineral. An opulent honeyed sweet palate amongst the citrus - mineral and complex. The Plenitude Programme is all about complexity with freshness - disgorged 2014. Manages to be intense and elegant at the same time.

Cut, thrust and sizzling acidity. Wonderful fruit and great definition and drive. A lovely nightcap- full of life and zest.

A hint of lemon and bread. Salt and delicious long finish.

Fresh lime and seashells. Bright and vivid on the nose. On the palate succulent and lively with punchy acidity and oyster shells. Still quite young- a big of time would probably help.

Never lets me down. Still a baby but so fresh and vibrant right now it’s hard to resist

Bright mid Gold in colour. On opening there was a little Sherry like reduction which blew off to reveal Bready Toasty Bakery aromas. On the palate quite full bodied and powerful with tertiary complex flavours which changed over time encompassing lemons through nuts with a chalky mineral streak - a lot going on here. Disgorged in 2009. Achieving the whole point of the Dom Plenitudes - complexity with freshness. Like all great old Champagne a kaleidoscope of flavours with evolution. I had a previous note earlier this year for this Wine which was a stunning experience at the Dom evening in Sydney. PS. I should add a footnote about the brilliant packaging - Very James Bond 007 Secret Service!!!

Really something special, the lees have integrated into this wine soo much I have nothing to compare it to. Plus it is the year I graduated high school!

Disgorged 2010. This wine epitomises what Dom is trying to do with these Plenitudes. Masses of complexity yet providing freshness. Virtually no bead. Again smokey dusty notes with a Creamy biscuityTexture on the palate with profound intensity. Finishing with a touch of sweetness. Amazed to hear there was zero oak influence. Stunning!

This has more than its share of all good Champagne qualities. Luxurious most of all. Still a baby though.
