Birthday celebration for @Cody Uzzel at Lucio’s with a bunch of friends. All wines (except sparklers) tasted blind. . A Melka beauty that served as a nice follow-up to Bénetière’s gem. This had a green streak piercing the palate that dominated at first and was slightly off-putting, but it balanced itself out as the night wore on and proved to be quite harmonious with the other essences of the wine: exotic spices, mud/clay, plums, and créme de cassis. This was an awesome wine.
