Bright blueberry and strawberry on the nose, both of which diminished with time, giving way to sauteed mushrooms. White pepper, charred oak, and mushroom on the palate. There was a tad of residual sugar, that also blended away with the decant. 94 points

First of four bottles from cellar. Very flavorful from nose to finish. Interesting taste of liquorice in the finish.. a bit too much so need to see if that persists over the aging years. Overall a wonderful, expressive wine.
