Glass-staining maroon. Dark berry liqueur, fruitcake, smoky oak and vanilla nuances on the deeply perfumed nose. Coats the palate with concentrated black/blue fruit, bitter chocolate and floral pastille flavors; baking spice and mineral nuances add lift and back-end cut. Fleshy and deep but energetic as well.
