Finally opened up and time to drink these if you still have them. Had another a few years ago and it was still firm. The 01 vintage is possibly my favorite domestic cab I’ve had. The 02 is broader and didn’t quite get to the 01 aromatics but was still very good. Sycamore is always such a pretty wine. I prefer it to Bosche.

Lots of bell pepper at first, it blew off and opened up beautifully.

Tannins were nice and smooth. A bit of herb, rubber and leather along with very heavy bell pepper. The wine was nice, but a bit out of balance. This was enjoyable, but for the price point, not sure this is the best value for me
