Wednesday Wine Committee. Great hosting by Gavin. 1 sparkler, 4 whites, 4 reds and 2 dessert wines. All served blind as usual. This was just kind of meh. It wasn’t great, nor was it bad. Just a “fine” wine. Honeysuckle, sea shell, faint citrus fruits and a kiss of oak. I also found my glass to have quite a bit of bubble/lift to it which was unique. I called this Sonoma chardonnay.

Good but not as great as others. A bit sweeter but still oaky.

Floral with chalk and Meyer lemon. Acidity and a longer finish but fruity for a Chardonnay.
