Creamy, minerally, nutmeg, ripe-fruity nose; taste is fresh, rich, moderately oaky and composed of pineapple, ripe green apples, and a lemon-pepper spiciness. Not a favorite style of mine (wife’s choice), but I found it quite elegant and satisfying with the baked potatoes and a shrimp-dill-sauce called Skagenröra.

@Delectable Wine and Josh Reynolds, perfect review. Amazing wine. Gave it a point higher for value.

I feel tired of these matchstick, reductive #chardonnay yes, we know, you can leave solids from the press...yes we know you can make this style of wine, but for me it’s a bit of a one pony trick show. Lacking body, lacking finish lacking acidity. #oregon #eolaamityhills

Light, glistening yellow. A highly perfumed bouquet evokes fresh citrus and orchard fruits, dusty minerals and white flowers, and a hint of chamomile emerges with air. Sappy, penetrating and energetic on the palate, offering Meyer lemon, pear, candied ginger and toasted brioche flavors that slowly deepen and spread out on the back half. Powerful and concentrated yet lithe in character, finishing with strong energy and lingering floral and mineral notes. (Josh Raynolds, Vinous, September 2020)

Great QPR. Slightly reduced, which I am into style-wise.

Wow! Minerality jumps out of the glass, lots of really pretty Chablis-like reduction but also some nuttiness. Lots of really delicate florals and racy precision on the palate. Up there with the best American whites I’ve ever had

Straightforward French-style Chardonnay, with nice apple notes and only lightly oaked. A very good but not exceptional Chardonnay.
