Classic nose of sinewy, dark and effusive big cherry fruit with a background of intense stones. Pommard was the sweet spot in 19. Better than Volnay. Super clean and has that lipstick like intensity. Palate is ripe and compact with super juiciness and insane freshness. So sleek and refined. This is packed but so elegant and pure. Really impressive. Impeccable balance and stunning, sweet, velvety, ripe tannins. Long finish. Wonderful. As it airs the nose gets more pungent and the fruit really comes out. Such a lovely clarity to the fruit. Love the energy here. Superb!
