Clean pale yellow with copious bubbles. The wine opens with aromas of biscuit and nut, then it's pleasantly round on the palate, with big fruit and a lemony finish. But there's great glittery acidity, too, and a medium-coarse texture that makes the wine feel but spritely and cleansing. Overall this is a very pleasant wine for $15. Open one on a weeknight, soon. Named after the last member of the Codorníu family who married Don Manuel Raventós, their descendants still lead the company today. Pale straw yellow color. Tiny bubbles, good flow with light mousse. Aromas of stone and tropical fruits. Palate shows peach, pear, pineapple and gentle citrus, notes. Well balanced, medium length. Great value, a favorite.
