Expressive aromas of cherry, mushrooms and vanilla. Vibrant cherry on the pallet along with hints of leather, pomegranate and dark coffee. Tannins are firm but well polished. Excellent balance. This might be Ceretto’s entry level-multi vineyard Barolo, but this is simply a Terrific wine. Thank You Keith S.

Wonderful Barolo from Ceretto. Don’t always love Piedmont 2015s, but happy to drink now with a 4 hour decant while I let the 2016s hang out in storage. Deep with lots of red fruit and great earth, menthol, and tannin on the finish. Very nice pairing with beef stroganoff made with leftover prime rib from NYE.

2015. Red fruit dominates with a hint of black fruit. Herbal. Crisp acidity with fine tannins.
