Vin Gris De Cigare’s nose offers tart aromas, stemmy strawberries, raspberries and apricots. The palate is riper, but still not a fruit bomb by any stretch. Acidity is at just about the perfect balance between food-friendly and sipping. I can't wait to have it with a ham sandwich - that's my post-Thanksgiving leftover favorite. It's a blend of red and white Rhône varieties, btw.

Brilliant onion skin. Vibrant red berry, peach and blood orange aromas are complemented by suave floral, fennel and mineral notes. Silky and energetic on the palate, showing seamless texture and subtly sweet strawberry, white peach and melon flavors that firm up and become spicier on the back half. Weighty but dry and gripping; the long, floral-tinged finish leaves a hint of succulent herbs behind. I'd love to throw this complex, uncompromising wine into a blind tasting of pink Bandols. Not for me, I found it almost flavorless, tastes like watered down rose, maybe could be good very cold and with strong flavored cheese

A mild mannered French. This marks the first time those words have ever been spoken.

Very well balanced, not too dry, not sweet, spectacular color with slight floral aroma. Hints of light onion with an elegant yet mild fruit background reminiscent of strawberries.
