Tried twice. A 6 region blend, deep Ruby with aromas of dark red fruits, spice and dried herbal and floral notes. On the palate flavors of blueberry and blackberry with licorice and pepper oak. Fine grainy tannins, lively acidity, medium(+) finish ending with fruit, subtle oak and savory spice. Nice! Great value!

Stock photo, but shared with Argentinian friends over Asado- an Argentine BBQ- complete with a newly bought Argentine style grill. I hadn’t had this for years, & was surprised at the balance, restrained oak, &full, juicy mid palate. Drank after a Vaqueras red & matched the smokiness of the meat.

Quintessential Malbec. Full bodied, dark cherries, plums, raisins, fig. Hints of vanilla. Some peppery notes mixed with anise followed by velvet violet notes. Tannins are rounded, longer well. Very smooth, well balanced and constructed. Compared to the 2015, this is a bit more mellow with less tobacco and baking spice but delicious nonetheless
