This wine wasn’t dry but it was just more bitter than I like my whites. It was light and smooth while still being about 12% ABV.

100% Reisling from the Columbia Valley, and as mass market wines go this is one quite good albeit simple. Starts with enticing floral aromatics of Jasmine & Honeysuckle. While peach, pineapple with a bit of lemon zest come through on the medium-dry palate. Overall paired well with spicy homemade mac & cheese on a beautiful Monday evening. ($7) [7/22/19]

Chateau Ste. Michelle is the oldest winery in Washington with some of the most mature vineyards in the Columbia Valley. Pale lemon with aromas of ripe stone fruits and honey blossom notes, very typical of Riesling. On the palate flavors of crisp apple and peach with honey notes, lively acidity that serves best with food. Medium finish ending with mineral notes. For $11, great value.

Pale lemon in color with a golden hue. Fruity nose and medium plus in body with medium plus acidity. Off dry on the palate with mild complexity. Showing lemons, apples, pears, minerals, light herbs, sea salt and light honey notes. Medium finish with limes and sweet apples. This is a very tasty Riesling from Washington State. Crisp and refreshing, and better when properly chilled. Nicely balanced, easy drinking and better than I expected. Good by itself as a sipping wine, and good for parties or the pool. 12% alcohol by volume. 88 points.

Smells like a Riesling, tastes a little like a Riesling but nowhere near enough acidity to be "crisp and lively" like the label says... just sits on the palate like blah.
