Apple, kiwi, grapefruit and apricot. Pale/colorless. Lacks depth but is very crisp.

Mediocre and over bodied sauv blanc. Lime and citrus notes and over bearing acidity fails to showcase the mineralogy this variety is known for.

Perhaps it's the minerality I don't like?

I was blinded on this and it ended a friendship. This was so out of balance. Loads of grapefuit, acidified (I believe), more herbal / grassy character than any domestic SB should have.

Slightly more residual sugar than your average SB, this wine is smooth as silk and not citric at all. Paired nicely with Cantonese cuisine.

Pours a silvery golden hue. Smells like fresh copy paper and pears. Flavors are classic. Hint of sour cream to go with the pear-lemon tartlet. Plenty of grippy wet rock stuff too. Maybe some grass. Not too heavy on the citrus. It’s a nice CA S.B. And sustainable to boot.
