2015? It’s like driving a Ferrari in a school zone. Honestly... there should be a law about selling Italian wine before they are ready to drink. This is fantastic... but should be ready for Leon’s 19th. Val Di Suca.

Needed a ton of time to open up. Once it did it was pretty good, that being said, I preferred other #Brunello to this one.

Concentrated complexity in a glass! Dark garnet color with a ruby core. Bright aromas of cherry, orange zest, fresh thyme and red flowers. The palate is loaded with ripe cherry, black tea, baking spices (light), tobacco, grilled herbs and wet soil. Hint of saline on the very tangy finish. Medium-plus body with noticeable (but well balanced) tannins. Nicely aged but still vibrant. Thank you for opening this outstanding wine, Keith S!
