From 3 vineyards, Ruby with berry fruit, fragrant spice and earthy floral notes. On the palate flavors of sour cherry, raspberry and licorice with notes of pepper spice and tangy mineral feel. Fine tannins, medium+ savory finish ending with tobacco and cacao wrapped in an earthy spice character. Tasting Sample!

2015? It’s like driving a Ferrari in a school zone. Honestly... there should be a law about selling Italian wine before they are ready to drink. This is fantastic... but should be ready for Leon’s 19th. Val Di Suca.

Needed a ton of time to open up. Once it did it was pretty good, that being said, I preferred other #Brunello to this one.

Black and red cherry fruit aromas, dried cran and raisin, display a light tangerine, sage, aloe and pepper dust. Sweet tobacco, and spot on measures of cedar and smoke. Dried cherry, pointedly tart raspberry, black cherry, cocoa, coffee, and tarragon round out the palate. Juicy in places; lean on the pyrotechnics. Balanced in a word. #brunello #brunellodimontalcino #montelchino #sangiovese #sangiovesegrosso #valdisuga #docg #tuscany #tuscanred #estatebottled #italianred #italianredwine

Concentrated complexity in a glass! Dark garnet color with a ruby core. Bright aromas of cherry, orange zest, fresh thyme and red flowers. The palate is loaded with ripe cherry, black tea, baking spices (light), tobacco, grilled herbs and wet soil. Hint of saline on the very tangy finish. Medium-plus body with noticeable (but well balanced) tannins. Nicely aged but still vibrant. Thank you for opening this outstanding wine, Keith S!

Great Brunello! Out of magnum. Quite some body but backed up with enough acidity. Yummy!
