The Hilt The Old Guard Pinot Noir 2014

$63.95

Another compelling wine, the 2014 Pinot Noir Old Guard is weightless and gracious on the palate, with more aromatic lift and silkiness than the Vanguard... The 2014 is all Sanford & Benedict... Antonio Galloni, Vinous Media

Clean and crisp with a cool strawberry nose. Needed some air but just the perfect razor’s edge balance to crisp acidity and tannins with bold strawberry and dark cherry fruit. No hurry here, will improve.

Tasted at Wind House LA on 7/9. Very funky. It made me feel like doing something I should not. It’s $65 here, but if I wanted to enlist the evil elves I’d pay that.
