Screaming Eagle Oakville Cabernet Sauvignon 2011
Mindlblowing nose with spearmint, cloves and blackberries. Floral, too. Full body with phenomenal detail featuring delicate but intense blackberry, espresso, toasted oak, caramel and dark chocolate. Cedar and sweet tobacco. Finesse all over. The wine of the vintage? Everything is there. Great energy... James Suckling

Far more enjoyable than I thought it would be. First time flying the bird....just layers of truffles and dark fruit. Probably best after hyper decanting in a blender.

I have 2 more bottles of the 2011. After tonight, I am very excited about them. Excellent balance and finesse for such a young wine. 4 -5 hr decant.
