...Opaque purple-colored, its distinctive aromatics leap from the glass. Toasty oak, scorched earth, a hint of truffle, black cherry, black raspberry, and blackberry liqueur aromas are quite mesmerizing... Quilceda Creek Vintners remains a model of consistency... Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

While QC rarely win any medals for subtlety or balance I still quite enjoy them. To my palate this is in a good spot now and I don't see a point in cellar it further.

Packed with jammy black and blue fruits. Full-bodied and well-structured with loads of pleasant tannins I think this, despite the lofty alc. (14.9% labeled) will drink great for at least 10+ years.

With respect to Washington producers, Quilceda Creek is in a league of it's own. I found the Galitzine to have a slightly different profile than their flagship Columbia Valley Cabernet, which often has a unique fingerprint of soy and Asian spices. Even so, this Red Mountain Cab is exquisite and pristine. Notes of violets, graphite, wild plums, boysenberry, incense, and smoke. Well-structured, with firm, precise tannins. The structure, in fact, overwhelms the fruit at this stage, more cellaring is needed.

Outstanding, and drinking lay beautifully. Earth on the nose then big full bodied complex on the palate. Soft tannins - stunning.

Really nice wine. Rich concentrated. Will last a long time. I would guess another decade.
