Paul Jaboulet Aîné Les Cassines Condrieu Viognier 2017

$49.99

...the 2017 Condrieu Les Cassines has textbook aromas and flavors of honeyed citrus, tangerine oil, crushed rocks, and spice. Rich, beautifully textured, and balanced, it's rocking Condrieu that I suspect will continue to drink beautifully for 3-4 years or more. Jeb Dunnuck

Honey and cotton candy, white floral nectare- jasmine and magnolia. A little cloying upon open but with some air, really delicious and clearly has years of good drinking left.

This producer has been batting 1000 recently. Nose is beautiful butterscotch and birthday cake. Plus paw paw and orange creamsicle, palate has fabulous acid and some nice minerals, also very long. Quite honeyed but with a wonderful phenolic bite, lingers unbelievably long. Great right out of the gate.

floral ~ apricot, peach, citrus oils, hint of pineapple candy ~ honeyed & viscous ~ as it warms crushed minerals & pepper emerge on the finish my understanding is that no Les Grands Amandiers was produced and that Domaine crop went into this Maison bottling
