Opus One Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon Blend 1990

Dramatic, with its ripe, rich, plush core of exotic currant, anise, cedar, vanilla and berry notes that are enormously complex on the finish. Delicious... Wine Spectator

Very light red and turning translucent now in the glass. This one is just holding on offering light fruit notes. Drink now, don't know how many years this one has left in it.

True story: at some point in this bottle's 23 years of aging, the cork sank into the bottle. When I saw that that had happened, I thought I'd lost this treasure. I thought it had to be bad, but nope. This legendary wine withstood the test of time! Even without a cork intact, the wine stayed really, really good. Thank goodness and yummmmm-y!
