No Girls Wines La Paciencia Vineyard Tempranillo 2012

$115

A new cuvee that I absolutely loved from barrel last year, the 2012 Tempranillo La Paciencia Vineyard is brilliantly done and gives up a crazy bouquet of blackberries, black cherries, bouquet garni, roasted meats and dried violets. Full-bodied, seamless and elegant, with silky tannin and fabulous precision and length... Drink 2017 - 2032. Robert Parker's Wine Advocate

From a great tasting at Cayuse Vineyards with Christophe Baron/Trevor Dorland.

Very unique nose of licorice and charcoal briquette. Oily palate with very fine tannin

Absolutely killer. Meaty, tart, olives, burnt mud and stank.

This was very funky and hard to drink on opening. 24 hrs later, it’s settled down and opened up. Cassis, struck match, fine tannin

A beautiful, lush wine. Fragrant with hints of violets. Tastes of lush red fruit with hints of tobacco and leather. A lovely mineral finish characteristic of the Rocks. Oh my! Yes, it will be even better in a few years, but it is already fantastic!

Insanely good! Black cherries, black berries, scorched earth, charred meats and black tar. Also some notes of dried violets. Soft tannins. Silky mouth feel. This wine will undoubtedly benefit from a little cellar time, but it's very approachable now with a serious decant. I'm a big fan of these wines and of Elizabeth Bourcier. If this note is in your wheelhouse, do yourself a favor and source a few. You won't regret it.

Young, but approachable with air. Would have guessed Cayuse blind, but maybe not Tempranillo. Great mouthfeel and very enjoyable.
