Melville Sandy's Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir 2014

$57.99

Kirsch, dried flowers, dried soils, and spice box flow from the silky, pure, polished and elegant... I love its complexity, as well as its seamless, silky texture, and while it’s already hard to resist, it will evolve beautifully through 2024. eRobertParker.com

From last night. Much better than the Clone 90. Very soft, but a lot of flavor and depth with a nice, lingering finish.

Classic St. Rita Hills pinot. Not sure this will evolve much further, but it’s drinking really well right now.

Earthy, tart, and smooth. Once it opens up for 30-45 minutes, it gets even better. Really good juice

Very soft tannins and approachable now. Black currant and cherry flavors make this an awesome wine

nose showed vinyl, some animal funk and minerality, spice, red and black cherries. tastes of spice, cherries, cedar, cinnamon, red licorice.... bits of earth and wood.... comes on hard with hot spice/red hots but relaxes in the mouth to some chocolate and jammy cherries. Tasted considerably better after sitting out a bit.
