This is fantastic, showing incredible length and richness. Supersilky and caressing. It's an absolute joy to taste. Full-bodied, with blackberry, light vanilla and a long, long finish. The aftertaste goes on for minutes. This is the best Masseto ever made and a monument to Tuscany. I have tasted it more than 10 times already... It's always great. Wine Spectator

What struck me most about this epic wine was its sheer scale, youth and power in an elegant even supple frame. A nose of chocolate and dark red fruit led a wide beam of the finest and sweetest tannins I can recall. Cocoa grounds, light oak, graphite and cigar leaf and a lonnnnng finish. Outstanding, years to go.
