There is an ever-so-mildly phenolic character (think olive oil nuances) to the airy and slightly riper spiced pear, apple, grapefruit and floral aromas. The seductively textured and more voluminous flavors possess a bit less refinement and minerality though the impressively long, clean, dry and focused finish is even more complex. I often prefer the Baudines but in 2017 this has a slight edge. Burghound.com
