A raspberry liqueur nose with hints of spice and underbrush merges into fresh, ripe, round and sweet flavors of surpassing intensity and purity... There is a beautiful tension to this wine... This too will see its 25th birthday (and many more) in superb condition. Burghound.com

A little bit of a head scratcher. Ripe bordering on overripe aromatics with plenty off tannin still. The question is will the fruit hold up with age . Not sure if this bottle would have.

Gorgeous nose, lots of structure, more like a Pommard, very powerful but elegant and poised

Deep, not revealing much. Typical 2005?

Hmmmm... second questionable bottle of this wine in the last few months (different sources). Might be closed for the time being... or bad luck... can’t tell.

The faintest hints of red and dark fruit, oak and earth on the nose. The palate is locked in a straitjacket. The components are there, hopefully the evolution will occur. I am afraid this wine needs to pull a Rip Van Winkle.
