An intensely floral, airy and exceptionally cool nose of cassis, spice and soft notes of kirsch is layered and gorgeously complex... an intensely stony quality to the beautifully well-delineated, energetic and powerful, indeed explosive finish... the length is simply incredible as is the sense of poise. I occasionally describe wines as Zen-like when the sense of balance and harmony is exquisite and this is one such wine... One of the finest young Dujac wines I have ever experienced and the descriptor brilliant doesn't completely capture just how good this is. If you can find it, buy it. Burghound.com
