Deep ruby. Aromas of ripe red berries, cherry skin, lavender and smoky minerals, with a sexy spicecake nuance building in the glass. Juicy and seamless on the palate, with sweet raspberry and floral pastille flavors showing very good depth and energy. I blinded with this today. Only 1/5 called Grenache. Savory, earthy, and nuanced across the board. Soft aromatics and mildly tannic palate with dried red fruits, earth, and subtle garrigue. Medium body with a tawny rim. Maybe another bottle is in order.

Haven't had a CDP in a long while. For a young wine, it was impressive. A funky yet non-descript nose. Palette is tight and precise with plums and black fruits. Finish is elegant and long. Subject to price, it's a buy.
