Domaine Christian Moreau Père et Fils Les Clos Chablis Grand Cru Chardonnay 2017

$105

...has a very composed bouquet with scents of white flower, chalk, a slight fish oil aroma that lends it an Asian influence. I love the definition here. The palate is very well balanced with a taut line of acidity, fresh and full of tension with a vivid, beautifully poised finish that lingers in the mouth. Excellent. Neal Martin, Vinous Media

The 2017 Chablis Les Clos Grand Cru is a gorgeous, sophisticated wine. Exotic white flowers, mint, citrus and crushed rocks are some of the many notes that lift from the glass in a vivid, striking Chablis that speaks to finesse more than anything else. The intensity of the flavors is just remarkable, and yet the wine is light on its feet, gracious and incredibly inviting. The brisk, refreshing finish is sublime. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2020)
