...my favorite of the lineup, the 2012 Chardonnay Sanford & Benedict Vineyard offers incredible purity and precision, with racy citrus, apple blossom and lychee aromas and flavors giving way to richer notes of rising bread, brioche and seawater-like saltiness with time in the glass. Coming from 40-year-old vines and aged 15 months in 25% new French oak, this medium-bodied, elegant, layered and thrillingly pure effort will continue to impress over the coming 4-5 years.
