From 25- to 50-year-old vines...displays a very clear, deep, flinty-pure and coolish, but also intense and mineral nose of great precision and individual expression. This Sancerre is full-bodied, very complex and mineral on the palate, with a clear and elegant, very persistent fruit, great grip and lingering salinity. This is a full-bodied and powerful, yet very well-defined and structured Sancerre with a long and characterful finish. One of the finest Sancerres I had for this Loire report.
